EDGE PROTECTION FRAME FOR PLATE-SHAPED STRUCTURAL MEMBERS ABSTRACT Edge protection frame for plate-shaped structural members. Each edge protection strip of the edge protection frame is provided on the bearing side with a continuous groove, cross pieces being allocated to its longitudinal side for the formation of undercuts. A plurality of slide-in profile strip sections made of plastic and having a T-shaped cross section are inserted into the groove. The centre strut of each slide-in profile strip section is designed as a harpoon cross piece which engages in locking fashion in the groove of the structural member. The edge protection frame according to the present invention can be used in particular for furniture doors, kitchen work surfaces and cover plates for electric kitchen appliances.
