ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A board for use as a table top or the like having an edging strip about the periphery thereof and intended particularly for outdoor use, is disclosed, wherein such strip is moulded in situ onto the periphery of a laminate comprising a wooden body part shaped to accord to the shape of the required table top upper an lower facing layers of plastics material applied to such body part. The edging strip extends about the edge of the laminate and furthermore, extends to cover the peripheral regions of the upper and lower surfaces of the laminate, to improve resistance of the board to penetration of moisture into the wooden body.
