One aspect of the invention provides a sanding tool including a first rigid member having a first planar surface. There is an elongated groove along the surface which receives an edge of a sheet of sandpaper. The sandpaper is supported by a second rigid member with a second surface which extends along the groove outwardly from the first planar surface. Another aspect of the invention provides a sanding tool with a first rigid member having a first planar surface. A plurality of nesting members are received on the first surface. Each nesting member has a sandpaper receiving, partly cylindrical surface extending outwardly from the first surface. At least one outer nesting member is removable to expose the partly cylindrical surface of another radially inward nesting member.
Cette invention concerne selon une variante un outil de ponçage comprenant un premier élément rigide ayant une première surface plane. Cette surface comporte une rainure destinée à recevoir un bord d'une feuille de papier émeri. Cette feuille est supportée par un second élément rigide ayant une seconde surface se prolongeant le long de la rainure, à l'extérieur de la première surface plane. Selon une autre variante de l'invention, l'outil de ponçage comporte un premier élément rigide ayant une première surface plane portant une série d'éléments imbriqués. Chacun de ces éléments comporte une surface partiellement cylindrique destinée à recevoir le papier émeri et se prolongeant à l'extérieur de la première surface susmentionnée. Au moins un des éléments imbriqués est amovible pour exposer la partie partiellement cylindrique d'un autre élément imbriqué de diamètre inférieur.
