According to the present invention, a switching method and a switching device (3) are disclosed for providing a multilink connection between a subscriber (1) and a network (2), the multilink connection consisting of a plurality of physical connections taken by the subscriber (1). The switching device (3) comprises a plurality of converting means (34, 35) each converting, upon activation, physical connections into a logical connection to the network (2) and converting a logical connection from the network (2) into physical connections. Furthermore, the switching device (3) comprises control means (31, 32, 33) for accepting a connection from the subscriber (1), for detecting that the connection is a physical connection belonging to a multilink connection, for activating one of the converting means (34, 35) for the detected multilink connection, and for directing the accepted connection and subsequently accepted physical connections belonging to the detected multilink connection to the converting means (34, 35) activated for this multilink connection.
L'invention concerne un procédé de commutation et un dispositif de commutation (3) servant à créer une connexion multilien entre un abonné (1) et un réseau (2), cette connexion multilien consistant en une pluralité de connexions physiques entreprises par l'abonné (1). Ce dispositif de commutation (3) comprend une pluralité de moyens de conversion (34, 35) convertissant chacun, lorsqu'on les active, des connexions physiques en une connexion logique vers le réseau (2) et convertissant chacun une connexion logique depuis le réseau (2) en connexions physiques. De plus, ce dispositif de commutation (3) comprend des moyens de contrôle (31, 32, 33) servant à accepter une connexion demandée par l'abonné (1), à détecter le fait que cette connexion est une connexion physique appartenant à une connexion multilien, à activer un des moyens de conversion (34, 35) pour cette connexion multilien détectée et à diriger la connexion acceptée et, de ce fait, les connexions physiques acceptées appartenant à la connexion multilien détectée vers les moyens de conversion (34, 35) activés pour cette connexion multilien.
