The invention allows a reliable and efficient identity management that can, with full interoperability, accommodate to various requirements of participants. For that a method and system are presented for providing an identity-related information about a user to a requesting entity. The method comprises a location-request step initiated by the requesting entity for requesting from a client application a location information that corresponds to a location entity possessing the identity-related information, a redirecting step for connecting the client application to the location entity in order to instruct the location entity to transfer the identity-related information to the requesting entity, and an acquiring step for obtaining the identity-related information. The acquiring step comprises a contact step wherein the location entity contacts the requesting entity, a request step wherein the requesting entity requests the identity-related information, and a response step wherein the requesting entity receives the identity-related information from the location entity.
L'invention a pour but d'obtenir une gestion d'identité fiable et efficace, capable d'absorber, en cas d'interopérabilité complète, diverses demandes de participants. A cet effet, l'invention concerne un procédé et un système fournissant une information ayant trait à l'identité d'un usager, en fonction d'une entité requise. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes, à savoir, une étape de demande de localisation, formulée par l'entité demandeuse, en vue d'avoir, sur demande d'un client, une information de localisation qui correspond à une entité de localisation possédant l'information d'identité, une étape de réacheminement permettant de connecter la demande du client à l'entité de localisation, en vue de prévenir l'entité de localisation, du transfert de l'information d'identité à l'entité demandeuse, et une étape d'acquisition, permettant d'obtenir ladite information d'identité. L'étape d'acquisition, elle-même, comprend une étape de contact, où l'entité de localisation contacte l'entité demandeuse, une étape de demande, où l'entité demandeuse demande l'information d'identité, et une étape de réponse, où l'entité demandeuse reçoit l'information d'identité en provenance de l'entité de localisation.
