ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The making of patties of chopped food product is described, particu- larly for product which does not have strong binding ability. Specifically, extrusion apparatus for the making of egg roll fillings is described includ- ing an insert for said apparatus for proper shaping and forming. The extruded patties are received on a paper web and cut, and upon discharge from said apparatus are received in inclined trays, particularly adapted for the rapid handling and stacking of such product. Each tray includes an integral handle.
