Electrocardiogram Signal Processing Apparatus ABSTRACT An electrocardiogram signal processing apparatus comprises three elements: 1. an analog-to-digital converter. 2. a first processor for processing a digital signal. 3. a second processor for detecting an onset of the QRS complex. 4. a third processor for recognizing a delta wave. The analog-to-digital converter converts an input electrocardio- gram signal into a digital signal. The first processor processes the digital signal, which is the output of the analog-to-digital converter, by secondary differentiation. The second processor detects an onset of the QRS complex in accordance with an output signal from the first processor. The third processor recognizes a delta wave which is peculiar to an electrocardiogram of the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in accordance with the digital signal, the secondary differentiated signal delivered from the first processor, and the onset location of said QRS complex.
