A barrel for an automatic firearm which cycles on recoil action is provided with a transverse pin (13) extending across the top of the rearward portion of the chamber. This pin nests within the extraction groove of a cartridge casing during firing. On cycling, the transverse pin (13) deflects the spent case downwardly towards an ejector (3) which effects ejection of the casing.

L'invention concerne un canon pour armes à feu automatiques fonctionnant par cycle lorsque se produit le recul, doté d'une goupille transversale (13) s'étendant sur la partie supérieure de la partie arrière de la chambre. Cette goupille est logée dans la rainure d'extraction d'un étui de cartouches pendant le tir. Lors du fonctionnement cyclique, la goupille transversale (13) dévie l'étui utilisé vers le bas en direction d'un éjecteur (3) lequel éjecte l'étui.
