ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A valve comprising a body, a discharge channel disposed in the body, a first outlet conduit having an inlet and an out- let, the inlet being disposed within the body, the outlet being always in an opened condition to permit the passage of fluid therethrough, the outlet of the first conduit being connected to an outlet spout, a second outlet conduit having an inlet and an outlet, the inlet being disposed within the body, the outlet being always in an opened condition to permit the passage of fluid therethrough, an elongated hose having one end connected to the outlet of the second conduit and having the other end connected to a stop valve disposed in a hand shower, an ejector type shifter connecting the discharge channel to the inlet of the first outlet conduit and to the inlet of the second outlet conduit, the ejector type shifter comprising a funnel shaped element having a wider opening and a smaller opening,the wider opening being connected to the discharge channel and the smaller opening being connected to the inlet of the first outlet conduit and to the inlet of the second outlet conduit, the inlet of the first outlet conduit being disposed transversely with respect to the inlet of the second outlet conduit so that fluid flow from the discharge channel into the first outlet conduit and into the outlet spout occurs only when the stop valve of the hand shower is in its closed position and so that fluid flow from the dis- charge channel into the second outlet conduit and into the hose and the hand shower occurs only when the stop valve of the hand shower is in its closed position.
