The invention relates to multi-filament elastane fibers with an overall titer of up to 2,500 dtex having with a high surface luster and a band-shaped cross section, which are formed by intertwined individual filaments, said individual filaments having an oval to circular cross section and the cross-sectional width of the elastane fibers having four times the thickness of the elastane fibers.

L'invention concerne des fils d'élasthane à plusieurs filaments, d'un titre total allant jusqu'à 2500 dtex et ayant un éclat superficiel élevé et une section transversale sous forme de bande. Ces fils se composent de filaments individuels interconnectés, de section transversale ovale à circulaire. Vue en coupe transversale, la largeur des fils d'élasthane correspond au moins au quadruple de leur épaisseur.
