The invention relates to an elastic composite structure, which is intended for use as a flexible, pliable and thin film structure in the manufacture of a 2- or 3-dimensional product, particularly for providing mechanical protection against cutting, puncturing and/or the like. The composite structure comprises firstly an elastomer system (1), which is constituted by at least one PUR- (polyurethane resin), PUD- (polyurethane dispersion), SI- (silicone) based elastomer material and/or the like, and secondly by a mechanically durable reinforcer system (2), such as a fabric, weave or knit structure (2a) made from one or more flexible hybrid yarns, an oriented flake reinforcement structure (2c) made from laminated flakes (y), and/or the like. The invention relates also to an elastic composite structure, which is intended for the above application and which comprises a reinforcement system (2) for reinforcing the same mechanically against cutting, puncturing and/or the like. In this respect, the composite structure's reinforcement system (2) is manufactured as a flake reinforcement composition, consisting of hard organic and/or inorganic components (y) and comprising at least one co- laminated hard polymer layer and an elastomer matrix (2, 2b) applied integrally in contact therewith.
L'invention concerne une structure élastique composite conçue pour être utilisée sous forme de structure souple, pliable et mince afin de fabriquer un produit bi- ou tridimensionnel, en particulier, afin de constituer une protection mécanique contre la coupure, la perforation ou des agressions similaires. Cette structure composite est composée d'un système élastomère (1) constitué par au moins un élastomère à base de résine de polyuréthanne (PUR), d'une dispersion de polyuréthanne (PUD), de silicone (SI) et/ou un matériau semblable, ainsi que d'un système de renforcement (2) possédant une résistance mécanique, telle qu'une structure tissée ou tricotée (2a) comprenant un ou plusieurs fils hybrides souples, ou qu'une structure de renforcement orientée (2c) en copeaux laminés (y). L'invention concerne également une structure composite élastique de même nature que celle indiquée ci-dessus et comprenant un système de renforcement (2) servant à renforcer mécaniquement ladite structure contre la coupure ou la perforation, par exemple. Ce système de renforcement (2) de la structure composite est fabriqué sous forme de compositions de renforcement à base de copeaux, constituées par des éléments durs organiques et/ou inorganiques (y) et comprenant au moins une couche dure polymère co-laminée et une matrice élastomère (2, 2b) en contact total avec ladite couche polymère.
