A rotation element (9,10), especially a contact cylinder is used to electrically contact printed circuit boards and conductor films in order to produce printed circuit boards and conductor films (7) wherein there is only a low amount of fluctuation in the layer thickness of the conductor structures without damaging the surfaces of said circuit boards and films, whereby an elastic, electrically conductive material (2, 5, 6) is at least partially applied to the bearing surface thereof rolling away from the printed circuit boards and conductor films.
