ABSTRACT In ordinary laces, they are known to have a length of tying material which material is made of cotton, silk or other synthetic materials which are non expandable. In this invention, rubber or other similar expandable material is used as tying material. The elasticity of the rubber protects the shoelace from wear and tear. The lace need only be tied once for maximum comfort. Regardless of the kind of shoe worn, the elasticity of the rubber lace provides increased flexibility and durability thus preserving the personal shoe lace style with all shoes. Unlike a loafer, a person can individually adjust the flexibility of the shoe top. These improved laces can be especially important with a sport shoe because they create a personalized tight fit for shoes and yet allow for free blood circulation and muscle contraction.
