The present invention relates to the use of linear or star-shaped block copolymers which are provided with at least one polymer block A which mainly consists of isobutene units and at least two polymer blocks B which mainly consist of units that are derived from vinyl aromatic monomers. Said block copolymers are used as elastic sealing material. The invention especially relates to the use of such sealing materials for sealing the edge joints in insulating glass panes and insulating glass panes which are provided with a flexible edge-joint sealing which contains one of the block copolymers.
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation, en tant que matériaux d'étanchéité, de copolymères blocs, linéaires ou en étoile, qui présentent au moins un bloc polymère A, sensiblement constitué d'unités isobutène, et au moins deux blocs polymères B, sensiblement constitués d'unités dérivant de monomères vinylo-aromatiques. Cette invention concerne notamment l'utilisation de tels matériaux d'étanchéité pour le garnissage des joints marginaux de vitres isolantes, ainsi que des vitres isolantes présentant un garnissage des joints marginaux souple qui contient l'un desdits copolymères blocs.
