Abstract An elastic suspension of a vehicle having a frame with at least one axle comprises a lamination of leaf springs interposed between the frame and axle and mechanically connected thereto. A plate brace-like spring extends length- wise of the lamination of leaf springs. The adjacent midpor- tions of the lamination of leaf springs and plate brace-like spring are mechanically interconnected by means of a fasten- ing assembly.
