ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE Tire flexing components having improved ozone and flex and weather resistance are prepared by blending a general purpose rubber with a chlorinated EPDM containing about 0.1 to about 4.0 wt.% chlorine. The products so formed are useful for tire components that are subject to severe flexing such as coverstripe and sidewalls.
