An elastomeric disc for use on a pipeline pig of the type having a longitudinal body supported centrally within a pipeline for movement by fluid flow therethrough, the disc being in the form of a unitary elastomeric member having an outer peripheral surface concentric with the pipeline pig body longitudinal axis and having an inner portion of selected thickness with means for attachment to the pipeline pig body whereby the disc is supported in a plane perpendicular the pipeline line axis, the disc member having an integrally formed circumferential outer portion, the outer portion being of increased thickness in relation to the spacing thereof from the disc center, the outer peripheral surface being defined by first and second intersecting frustraconical surfaces, one of the surfaces being parallel to the inner wall of the pipeline through which the disc is moved in a first direction and the other of the surfaces being parallel so the inner wall of the pipeline when the disc is moved in a second direction.
Disque en élastomère à utiliser sur un dispositif de raclage d'un pipeline ayant un corps longitudinal maintenu au centre d'un pipeline pour être déplacé par le fluide qui s'y écoule. Le disque a la forme d'un élément unique en élastomère comportant une surface extérieure concentrique par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du corps du dispositif de raclage et compte une partie intérieure d'une épaisseur choisie pourvue d'un moyen de fixation au corps du dispositif de raclage par lequel le disque est soutenu dans un plan perpendiculaire à l'axe du pipeline. Le disque comporte une partie extérieure dont la circonférence est intégralement formée. La partie extérieure est d'une épaisseur croissante en fonction de son éloignement du centre du disque. La surface périphérique extérieure est définie par une première et par une deuxième surfaces de troncature qui se coupent, l'une étant parallèle à la paroi intérieure du pipeline dans lequel le disque est déplacé dans une première direction, l'autre surface étant parallèle à la paroi intérieure du pipeline lorsque le disque est déplacé dans une deuxième direction.
