Microtextured elastomeric materials having at least one elastomeric core layer or region (3) and at least one skin layer (2, 4) wherein the skin layer has a semicrystalline or amorphous polymer and an elastomeric block copolymer or pressure sensitive adhesive, the combination of which is less elastic than the core layer and will undergo permanent deformation at the stretch percentage that the elastomeric laminate will undergo. The materials are suited for use in applications such as respirators.

L'invention concerne des matières élastomères microtexturées présentant au moins une couche ou région (3) d'âme élastomère ainsi qu'au moins une couche de peau (2, 4). La couche de peau présente un polymère semicristallin ou amorphe et un copolymère séquencé élastomère ou un adhésif autocollant, dont la combinaison est moins élastique que la couche d'âme et subit une déformation permanente au pourcentage d'étirage que subit le stratifié élastomère.
