ELASTOMERS BASED ON 1,4-DIISOCYANATO CYCLOHEXANE ENRICHED IN THE TRANS, TRANS ISOMER WHICH CONTAIN ESSENTIALLY NO CHAIN EXTENDERS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed herein is an improved elastomer comprising a reaction product of a polyisocyanate and an active hydrogen containing material, the improvement wherein the elastomer is essentially free of a chain extender, wherein the polyiso- cyanate comprises 1,4-diisocyanato cyclohexane containing from about 40 to 100 percent of the trans-isomer.
