ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An elastoplastic composition comprising a blend of from about 20 to 45 parts by weight of thermoplastic crystalline polyolefin resin and from about 80 to 55 parts by weight of butyl rubber, chlorobutyl rubber, or bromobutyl rubber per 100 total parts by weight of polyolefin resin and rubber wherein the rubber is dis- persed particles of cross-linked rubber which composi- tion is processable as a thermoplastic and is elastomeric. me elastoplastic composition of this invention is useful for making a variety of articles such as tires, hoses, belts, gaskets, moldings and molded parts. They are parti- cularly useful for making articles by extrusion, injection molding and compression molding techniques. Compositions of the invention also are useful for blending with thermoplastics, in particular, polyolefin resins.
