ABSTRACT A coin operated automatic electric shoe polisher comprises a motor driven rotatable two-section polishing brush and two independently selectively operable polish dispensing assemblies for repeatedly dispensing an appropriately colored solid wax polish to a brush section during one cycle of operation. Each polish dispensing section comprises a geared motor actuated assembly holding two bars of solid wax polish in hollow tubes and advanced a number of times during each cycle of operation. Control means for initiating and maintaining energization of the brush motor and geared motor and thereby the polish feed mechanism during one cycle of operation comprise a coin operated mechanism, a timer switch momentarily actuated and a relay switch.
