Protective equipment for safely discharging electrical potential comprises an interface (10, 50, 60) adapted to be in contact with a wearer. A conductive path in the interface contacts the wearer, the conductive path reaching a ground. A first circuit device (30) is provided in the conductive path. The first circuit device (30) has at least one variable resistance so as to oppose a first level of variable resistance to decrease a conductivity in the conductive path as a function of an increase in potential difference between the wearer and the ground, to allow static discharge through the protective equipment.
La présente invention concerne un équipement de protection permettant de décharger sans danger un potentiel électrique. L'équipement ci-décrit comprend une interface (10, 50, 60) conçue pour être en contact avec une personne portant l'équipement (le <= porteur >=). Un circuit conducteur dans l'interface est en contact avec le porteur et conduit à une mise à la terre. Le circuit conducteur comporte un premier dispositif de circuit (30) lequel possède au moins une résistance variable servant à opposer un premier niveau de résistance variable pour réduire un niveau de conductivité dans le circuit conducteur en fonction d'une augmentation de la différence de potentiel entre le porteur et la terre, le but étant de décharger l'électricité statique dans l'ensemble de l'équipement de protection.
