Described is an electric circuit (1) for an electrochemical sensor (2), in particular for an amperometric gas sensor. The sensor (2) is provided with a measuring electrode (S), a reference electrode (R) and a counter electrode (C), whereby the counter electrode (C) is in particular charged by a potentiostat (6) to stabilize the potential of the measuring electrode (S). An input (16) of the potentiostat (6) is coupled with the measuring electrode (S). This allows for the working point of the sensor (2) to remain constant.

Le capteur (2) comporte une électrode de mesure (S), une électrode de référence (R) et une contre-électrode (C), cette dernière étant en particulier chargée par un potentiostat (6) de manière à stabiliser le potentiel de l'électrode de mesure (S). Une entrée (16) du potentiostat (6) est couplée avec l'électrode de mesure (S). Ceci permet au point de fonctionnement du capteur (2) de demeurer constant.
