The invention concerns a cooking appliance comprising an external housing (3) in which are incorporated a vessel (12), means (14) for electrically heating the vessel, and a box (23) housing a removable device (25) for condensing vapours urged to be connected on operating means (27) communicating with the vessel. The appliance comprises sensing means (65) for sensing the presence of the condensing device (25) in the box (23) and actuated by the said condensing device (25) when it is present in the box (23), and a switch (68) whose control capable of closing the power circuit supplying the heating means is dependent on the actuating of the sensing means (65).
Appareil de cuisson électrique comportant un boîtier externe (3) dans lequel sont incorporés une cuve (12), des moyens (14) de chauffage électrique de la cuve, et un bac (23) logeant un dispositif amovible (25) de condensation des vapeurs venant se raccorder sur des moyens de conduite (27) communiquant avec la cuve. Selon l'invention, l'appareil comporte des moyens de détection (65) aptes à détecter la présence du dispositif de condensation (25) dans le bac (23) et actionnés par ledit dispositif de condensation (25) lorsque ce dernier est présent dans le bac (23), et un interrupteur (68) dont la commande permettant de fermer le circuit d'alimentation électrique des moyens de chauffage est subordonnée à l'actionnement des moyens de détection (65). Application aux friteuses électriques ménagères.
