- 15 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multilayer electric discharge recording material comprising an electrically anisotropic support layer disposed on one surface of a conductive layer and a transfer layer disposed on the other surface of the conductive layer. The transfer layer comprises a material that has a melting point between about 25° and 150°C and that is capable of melting and adhering to a receiving sheet such that a desired pattern or image can be formed and recorded on the receving sheet.
