Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to an electric flash device which consists of a flash unit including a reflector having a reflecting mirror for reflecting a flash light. A flash tube is inserted into the reflecting mirror, and the flash tube has at least one pair of main current electrodes and a trigger for triggering the main current electrodes. The trigger includes a conducting member and a connector for connecting the conducting member to the reflecting mirror so as to electrically connect the connecting member to the reflecting mirror.
