Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to an electric flash device which includes a housing and a flash unit including a reflector. The flash unit is mounted in the housing, and the reflector of the flash unit includes a frame. A reflecting mirror is carried by the frame, and a flash tube is inserted into the reflecting mirror. The flash tube has at least one pair of main current electrodes and a trigger electrode for triggering the main current electrodes. The frame of the reflector is formed integrally with the housing.
