An electric fluid pump includes an upper housing having a fluid inlet and outlet. An impeller is seated within the upper housing for pumping fluid between the inlet and the outlet. The impeller includes at least one magnet secured thereto. A lower housing mates with the upper housing. The lower housing has an upper wall for closing the upper housing and a shaft extending from the upper wall for rotatably supporting the impeller. A stator is seated within the lower housing and spaced from the impeller by the upper wall. The stator includes a plurality of pillars supporting a winding of coils for producing a magnetic field to energize the magnet and rotate the impeller, and a plurality of top plates covering each of the coils and spaced apart by a predetermined gap for maintaining the magnetic field between the stator and the impeller. An end cap closes the stator within the lower housing.
L'invention concerne une pompe à fluide électrique qui comprend un corps supérieur présentant une entrée de fluide et une sortie de fluide. Un rotor est monté à l'intérieur du corps supérieur pour pomper du fluide entre l'entrée de fluide et la sortie de fluide. Au moins un aimant est fixé audit rotor. Un corps inférieur est complémentaire du corps supérieur. Ce corps inférieur présente une paroi supérieure qui ferme le corps supérieur, ainsi qu'un arbre qui s'étend depuis la paroi supérieure, sur lequel le rotor est monté rotatif. Un stator est monté dans le corps inférieur et séparé du rotor par la paroi supérieure. Le stator comprend une pluralité de colonnes qui soutiennent un enroulement de bobine servant à produire un champ magnétique destiné à exciter l'aimant et à faire tourner le rotor, ainsi qu'une pluralité de plaques supérieures, couvrant respectivement chacune des bobines et séparées par un espace prédéterminé pour que le champ magnétique soit maintenu entre le stator et le rotor. Une coiffe d'extrémité ferme le stator dans le corps inférieur.
