An electric heater made from extruded aluminum members. The electric heater is light, convenient for assembling, low cost and good in fast heating and is comprised of a receiving chamber, a plurality of heat sinking members, a plurality of electric heating pipes and a control portion. Wherein, the receiving chamber and heat sinking members are formed from extruded aluminum members, the heat sinking members are tidily arrayed at both sides of the receiving chamber. The electric heating pipes are placed in the receiving chamber. The control portion makes an electric power source drive the electric heating pipes to emit heat. Heat energy from the electric heating pipes is absorbed by a plurality of extruded aluminum plates defining the receiving chamber and is conducted fast to the heat sinking members and thereby exchanges heat by convection with cool air to rapidly raise the temperature of a room with the electric heater.
