These heating elements, which are transparent, take a minimum of space and have a good efficiency, are comprised of a heating body consisting of at least one tempered glass plate covered with a thin electroconducting layer, and associated to one or a plurality of surfaces configured like transparent, complementary layers or plates, providing for the definition and control of the mode of heat transfer from the heating element to the environment and/or providing for the electric insulation. There is disclosed a wall convector comprising two protection plates (4, 6) made of thermally and mechanically resistant glass, the wall plate (4) comprising an infrared reflecting layer (4<u>a</u>) and an intermediary heating plate (5) with a thin electroconducting layer (5<u>a</u>) facing the layer (4<u>a</u>); said plates are spaced apart by a distance sufficiently large so that the convection does not bring in any exagerated overheating of air, and sufficiently small so that the convection does not bring in perturbation phenomena due to descending draughts.
Ces éléments de chauffage, assurant un très bon rendement, transparents et à encombrement minimum, comportent un corps de chauffe formé d'au moins une plaque de verre trempé recouverte d'une couche mince électroconductrice, et associé à une ou plusieurs surfaces sous forme de couches ou plaques, transparentes, complémentaires, permettant de définir et de contrôler le mode de transfert thermique de l'élément chauffant vers l'environnement et/ou d'assurer l'isolation électrique. On cite un convecteur mural comportant deux plaques protectrices (4, 6), en venre thermiquement et mécaniquement résistant, la plaque murale (4) comportant une couche (4a) réfléchissant l'infrarouge, et une plaque de chauffe intermédiaire (5) à couche mince électroconductrice (5a) tournée vers la couche (4a); ces plaques étant écartées d'une distance suffisamment grande pour que la convection n'apporte pas de surchauffe exagérée de l'air, et suffisamment faible pour que la convection n'apporte pas de phénomènes de perturbation par courants descendants.
