ABSTRACT ELECTRIC HEATING PANELS An electric blanket is made by feeding fabric outer layers, optionally with an inner foam layer on one or both, through pressure rollers, with hot melt adhesive, in particulate, net, or sheet form, on one or both of the inner surfaces, the adhesive being heated to softening point upstream of the rollers, an electric heating wire harness being introduced between the layers as they pass through the rollers. The adhesive is chosen so as not to form a permanent bond with the insulating sheath of the heating wire.
