ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hotplate is provided with a lower cover plate, which has an insulator in an opening thereof. Electric hotplate leads are passed through the insulator. The stub-like ends of the leads are connected to the outer terminal portions of multicore cable ends projecting from a positioning part. The multicore cable ends, which are longer than conventional multicore cable ends, are squeezed at the projecting ends thereof.
