ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An automatic electric kettle of improved design comprises a water vessel (1) closed by a lid (2), an electric heating resistor (3) fixed on the bottom wall (4) of the vessel, and a steam flow duct (14) which extends to the full height of the vessel. The lower end of the duct has its opening opposite to the temperature- sensitive element (15) of the temperature limiter (12).
