ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A load indicator is capable to indicate whether an electric load supplied with current is operating properly. The current supplying the load is first sensed and a corresponding electric signal produced. A controllable warning unit is activated in response to the electric signal to indicate that the load is operating properly. The load indicator can be incorporated into electric apparatuses such as an electric switch, an A.C. power outlet, a tester apparatus, a panel-mount monitor, a circuit breaker, etc.
