PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention concerne un rotor de machi- ne électrique refroidi par circulation de gaz. Les canaux de refroidissement alimentés en gaz froid à partir d'un canal sous-encoche forment à chaque pas axial, dans les niveaux supérieurs de l'encoche, un réseau parallèle com- portant un canal radial d'admission, une multitude de canaux transversaux constitués de cannelures dans les bandes conductrices, et un canal radial d'évacuation, de manière à augmenter la surface d'échange thermique à ces niveaux supérieurs et à éviter leur échauffement excessif malgré l'échauffement du gaz dans les niveaux inférieurs. La présente invention est applicable aux rotors d'alter- nateurs.
