An electrically conductive framework for eyewear providing mutually insulated, plural conducting paths placed in coaxial relationship. The base metal of the eyewear frame comprises the first electrically conductive lead with an insulative coating being applied over the base metal followed by a second, outer conductive layer and a protective sheath. The outer conductive layer comprises the second lead of the circuit, with masking or abrading of the insulative layer at selected points along the framework establishing the needed contacts to the base metal core. The framework provides the electric path of a circuit including a power source and any desired electronic component on the eyewear.
Cette invention se rapporte à des montures de lunettes électriquement conductrices offrant plusieurs passages conducteurs, isolés les uns des autres et disposés de manière coaxiale. Le métal de base de la monture de lunettes comprend le premier fil électriquement conducteur, ledit métal de base étant recouvert d'un revêtement isolant, puis d'une seconde couche conductrice externe et d'une gaine de protection. La couche conductrice externe comprend le second fil du circuit, un masquage ou une abrasion de la couche isolante en des points sélectionnés le long de la monture établissant les contacts nécessaires avec l'âme métallique de base. Cette monture assure le passage du courant d'un circuit comprenant une source d'énergie et tout composant électronique désiré sur les lunettes.
