An electric stapler comprising a staple sheet storage part for storing staple sheets in a stacked state, a magazine storage part which is disposed at the rear of the staple sheet storage part and stores a staple magazine, a first staple feeding mechanism pulling out the staple sheets from the staple magazine and feeding for them into the staple sheet storage part, and a second staple feeding mechanism for pulling out the staple sheets from the staple sheet storage part and feeding them to a driver unit. By properly changing the staple magazine, a user can perform continuous binding treatment beyond the capacity of the staple magazine.
