An electric storage battery connector assembly (30), including a male connector (31), which includes an elongate, generally cylindrical, electrically conductive post (32), having a fixed end for being attached to an electrical cable (21), and a free end. A female connector (50) electrically communicates with a terminal of a battery. The female connector is formed of an electrically conductive material and has a recess (51) therein for receiving the post of the male connector. A cam (33) is integrally formed on the free end of the post of the male connector, and a cam follower (53) is carried in the recess of the female connector for cooperating with the cam on the post of the male connector for relative rotational movement between the unlocked position where the post may be inserted into or removed from the recess in the female connector, and the locked position where the post is locked into the recess of the female connector against removal therefrom.
L'invention concerne un ensemble de connecteur (30) pour batterie de stockage électrique, comprenant un connecteur mâle constitué d'une fiche électroconductrice (32), généralement cylindrique, allongée, ledit connecteur mâle possédant une extrémité fixe raccordée à un câble électrique (21), et une extrémité libre. Un connecteur femelle (50) communique électriquement avec une borne d'une batterie. Ledit connecteur femelle est formé d'un matériau électroconducteur, et possède un évidement (51) destiné à recevoir la fiche du connecteur mâle. Une came (33) est formée d'un seul tenant avec l'extrémité libre de la fiche du connecteur mâle, et un galet suiveur (53) est introduit dans l'évidement du connecteur femelle afin de coopérer avec la came de la fiche du connecteur mâle, ce qui produit un déplacement rotatif relatif entre la position déverrouillée dans laquelle la fiche peut être introduite dans l'évidement du connecteur femelle ou en être retirée, et la position verrouillée dans laquelle la fiche est bloquée dans l'évidement du connecteur femelle afin de ne pas en sortir.
