The invention relates to an electric tool (1), particularly a saw (2), comprising a connecting region (15) and an actuating handle (16), wherein the actuating handle (16) is pivotably arranged on the connecting region (15), wherein the actuating handle (16) can be pivoted into a number of pivoted positions and the actuating handle (16) has at least one actuating switch (17, 18, 19, 20) for the electrical actuation of the electric tool (1). An uncomfortable position of the hand during actuation of the actuating handle (16) is avoided and a high degree of comfort is achieved by the connection region (15) and the actuating handle (16) being connected to each other by means of an articulated connection (28) and by the articulated connection (28) having a bearing lug (28a) and a handle pivot pin (29) in engagement with the bearing lug (28a).
