The invention relates to an electrical toothbrush with a handpiece (1) and a brush piece (2), comprising a brush head (3), whereby individual cylindrical bristle supports (6), with bundles of bristles (7), are mounted in the brush head (3) such as to rotate. The above are set in an oscillating rotating motion by means of a pushrod (8) with transverse grooves arranged therein, which carries out a back and forth displacement movement and, at the same time, an oscillatory movement about the longitudinal axis thereof. Furthermore, a bristle support plate (4) is mounted in the brush head (3), such as to oscillate about an axis (5), running along the longitudinal direction of the toothbrush. Said bristle support plate (4) thus sweeps back and forth during the oscillatory movement of the bristle support (6) in time with the pushrod (8).

L'invention concerne une brosse à dents électrique comprenant une partie manche (1) et une partie brosse (3) pourvue d'une tête (3). Des supports de poils (6) cylindriques individuels, sur lesquels sont fixés des poils disposés en touffes (7), sont montés rotatifs dans la tête (3). Une tige de poussée (8) effectuant un mouvement de coulissement alternatif, et simultanément un mouvement pendulaire autour de son axe longitudinal, communique un mouvement de rotation pendulaire aux supports de poils (6), cette tige de poussée (8) comprenant des rainures transversales. La tête (3) comporte par ailleurs une plaque à supports de poils (4) qui est montée de façon pendulaire autour d'un axe (5) s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal de la brosse à dents. Grâce à cette configuration, la plaque à supports de poils (4) se balance selon un mouvement alternatif de façon synchrone avec la tige de poussée (8) pendant le mouvement pendulaire des supports de poils (6).
