ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electric welding gun having a rotary torch head and its auxiliary device in an outer casing, in which is constructed a casing-fixed hub for the rotary mounting of the driving shaft of the torch head and on which is constructed a supporting casing for the handling of the welding gun into which are jointly introduced the supply lines for the torch head and auxiliary device. The supply lines containing liquid and gas lines issue into ring chambers axially sealed at either end and to which are connected line ducts formed in the shaft, together with electrical lines, which are connected to a current transfer mechanism for transferring the welding current to the shaft and which is made from electrically conductive material. The current transfer mechanism is a contact brush engaging on a shaft which is made from a slip ring material, and the ring chambers are in each case axially constructed between retaining rings arranged in pairs on a bush with their sealing lips in each case facing ring chambers adjacent to one another. The bush is fixed to the shaft and has holes connecting the opening of line ducts in the shaft with the associated ring chamber.
