370-77-0260 ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT BOARD CONNECTION AND METHOD OF MAKING ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for providing an electrical interconnection between adjacent circuit boards or for off-board electrical connection, said apparatus including a first electrical contact mounted to one board and a second electrical contact mounted to the other board. The contacts each include an elongated, electrically conducting body with a forward recess containing a plurality of axially aligned wires having forward acutely angled (tapered) end surfaces and rear wire ends mounted within the recess. The rear portion of the conducting body includes a stem which fits within a hole in the circuit board and has a rounded end. The stem extends through the hole in the region of a conductor on the board and is soldered in place for mechanical and electrical attachment thereto.
