ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Electrical connectors are disclosed which includes means whereby the electrical contacts are shielded to reduce risk of shock. The socket portion of the connector has a shutter or baffle which is in a normally closed position and movable to an open position to expose the contact and allow access to the socket contact by the plug prong portion of the connector.
