4823 ABSTRACT An electrical connector has a wire-receiving face through which wires can be inserted into slotted wire-receiving portions of terminals. For mounting the connector in an opening in a panel, the wire- receiving face is enclosed by a cover having resilient latch arms which serve to latch the connector in the opening, shoulders on the latch arms engaging one side of the panel and shoulders on the cover engaging the other side of the panel. The latch arms are flexible towards and away from end walls of the connector. The latch arms may alternatively be provided on separate latching members attachable to the ends of the connector.
