ABSTRACT- CANADA A clip for connecting an insulated wire to a terminal post which clip is a stamped and formed metal piece and comprises a generally channel section body comprising a base and side walls, a free edge of one side wall being folded back within the channel section to provide a third wall extending towards and spaced from the base by a distance less than the post thickness, a side wall having an aperture freely to admit the wire and the third wall having an open-ended slot narrower than the wire core and aligned with the aperture so that insertion of the post axially of the channel between the free edges of the third wall and the base forces a wire admitted into the channel by the aperture into the slot to make connection therewith.
