The invention provides an electrical connector (50) comprising an insulating support (52) bounded by an upper face (54), from above which a series of contact ends (76) projects vertically, each of which belongs to the free end part (78) of a contact blade (70), and of the type comprising an electrical switch (80) for detecting the presence of a card (C) in the contact position, comprising a switch blade (82) which is fixed to the insulating support (52, 54) and which has at least one branch (B1) which extends opposite an upper portion (76) of a free end part (78) belonging to an elastically deformable blade (70), the first branch (B1) of the switch blade (82) being able or unable to engage with this portion depending on whether or not a card (C) is present in the contact position, characterized in that the blade (70) having the said portion (76) is identical to the contact blades (70) of the connector (50) and in that the said portion is the contact end (76) of the said blade (70).

L'invention concerne un connecteur (50) électrique comportant un support isolant (52) délimité par une face supérieure (54), au dessus de laquelle un ensemble d'extrémités de contact (76) se projette verticalement, chaque extrémité de contact faisant partie de l'extrémité libre (78) d'une lamelle de contact (70), et étant du type comprenant un commutateur électrique (80) qui permet de détecter la présence d'une carte (C) en position de contact. Une lamelle de commutateur (82) est fixée au support isolant (52, 54) et a au moins une branche (B1) qui s'étend à l'opposé d'une partie supérieure (76) d'une extrémité libre (78) faisant partie d'une lamelle (70) pouvant se déformer de façon élastique. La première branche (B1) de la lamelle de commutateur (82) peut ou ne peut pas entrer en prise avec cette partie selon qu'une carte (C) est ou n'est pas présente en position de contact, caractérisée en ce que la lamelle (70) ayant ladite partie (76) est identique aux lamelles de contact (70) du connecteur (50) et que ladite partie constitue l'extrémité de contact (76) de ladite lamelle (70).
