A B S T R A C T An improved resilient mounting means for mounting electrical connector housings in an aperture in a panel includes at least three beams extending outwardly from opposite sides of the housing, the beams being cantilever beams. The beams are interdigitated and each beam has a tapered portion extending rearwardly from its free end to an outwardly facing step. The steps of adjacent beams are aligned to define a channel extending transversely of the block for receiving an edge of an aperture in the panel when the housing is operatively mounted within the aperture.
