The connector element for printed circuit boards comprises a plurality of signal contacts (2) arranged in a grid pattern in a multipole connector and a shielding unit (3) containing a first and a second ground plate (4, 5) between which a conducting connection is provided by a bridge (6) that incorporates an insertable first ground connector (7) that extends from it. Each ground plate (4, 5) covers all the intervening signal contacts (2) in a column, only one shielding unit (3) being provided for every second column of signal contacts. This means that only one signal contact for every two columns has to be grounded, or is required in order to achieve complete shielding of all the columns.
L'invention concerne un connecteur de cartes de circuits comprenant d'une part une pluralité de contacts de signalisation (2) disposés sous forme de grille dans une broche de connexion (1), et d'autre part, une unité de blindage (3) contenant une première et une deuxième plaquettes de mise à la masse (4, 5) reliées de façon conductrice par un pont (6) présentant un premier raccord à la masse (7) faisant saillie et pouvant être inséré. Ces plaquettes de mise à la masse (4, 5) s'étendent chacune sur la totalité des contacts de signalisation (2) intercalés d'une colonne, une unité de blindage (3) étant prévue uniquement pour une colonne de contacts de signalisation sur deux. Il est ainsi nécessaire de raccorder à la masse uniquement un contact de signalisation pour deux colonnes, et une unité de blindage pour deux colonnes suffit à blinder complètement toutes les colonnes.
