ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Internally oxidized Ag-Sn of more than 3-less than 5 weight % alloy electrical contact materials are improved of their internal oxidation speed and consequently of their contact resistance by addition of 0.01 - 0.1 weight % of Bi. The alloy may comprise 0.01 - 0.5 weight % of one or more elements of the iron family.
