An electrical cooking apparatus comprising an open housing (3) closed by means of a lid (12) and provided with a base (10), a cooking vat (5) arranged in the housing and heated by an electrical resistor (6), and a vapour condensation device (15) communicating with the vat via duct means (18) through which the vapours flow. The condensation device (15) is retractably mounted in the base (10) of the housing (3). The apparatus may be a household electrical deep fryer.

Appareil de cuisson électrique comportant un boîtier ouvert (3) destiné à être fermé par un couvercle (12) et pourvu à sa base d'un socle (10), une cuve de cuisson (5) placée dans le boîtier et chauffée par une résistance électrique (6), et un dispositif de condensation des vapeurs (15) communiquant avec la cuve par des moyens de conduite (18) permettant l'écoulement des vapeurs. Selon l'invention, le dispositif de condensation (15) est monté escamotable dans le socle (10) du boîtier (3). Application aux friteuses électriques à usage ménager.
